Marker and cluster design can be customised using style sheets. To make it as easy as possible to integrate the application into your website, Maptimize also offers a default design.
Depending on which subscription you opt for, Maptimize can deal with up to 50,000 markers - but the underlying algorithm can handle over one million! If your needs extend to over 50,000 markers, don't hesitate to get in touch to find out about our specific solutions.
Maptimize subscriptions may be terminated at any time at no additional cost. What's more, subscribers are offered a 30-day trial period free of charge so they can test out Maptimize with no strings attached.
Maptimize is designed principally for use in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode. The advantage of this is that there are absolutely no maintenance requirements for users, who also benefit automatically from all updates to the technology. It is however possible for Maptimize to be installed on your own servers. Please get in touch with us if you wish to find out more about this option.
Your data is not encrypted on our servers. We recommend that only public data required for your map to be displayed is synchronised on Maptimize. If some of your data is sensitive, synchronise an identifier rather than the data itself; you can use this to locate the data stored securely on your own servers.
Our service is hosted by our partners EveryCity.co.uk, who guarantee maximum availability (99%). Although our server availability is monitored on a 24-hour basis, Maptimize is not committed to an SLA. If you wish to benefit from a guaranteed SLA, we suggest you opt for the software version hosted on your own servers. Do not hesitate to get in touch with us for more details.
Integrating our application into a web page requires a basic knowledge of Javascript and the Google Maps API. Integrating it into an iPhone app requires knowledge of objective-C and SDK iPhone. We are at your disposal to help you integrate Maptimize in your website or iPhone application.
